The Department of Geography at Oklahoma State University is currently accepting applications for Fall 2017 and financial support (monthly stipend, tuition waiver, and health insurance coverage) is available for qualified students at both the MS and PhD level. The department consists of 15 tenure and tenure-track faculty with diverse interests and expertise that supports student research in three core areas, (1) cultural and historical geography, (2) natural resource management, and (3) urban, transportation, and economic geographies, as well as a strong integration of GISc into all research areas. Strong-performing undergraduates are especially encouraged to apply to the MS program, which does not require a bachelor’s degree in Geography to be considered for admission.

To apply, students must submit all documents through OSU’s online application portal managed by the Graduate College (http://gradcollege.okstate.edu/apply); further information about the graduate program can be found at http://geog.okstate.edu/graduate-program. Oklahoma State University is an equal opportunity institution (https://eeo.okstate.edu/). Applications are accepted year round but should be received by February 1st for full funding consideration for the 2017-2018 academic year.
