The Applied Geography Specialty Group aims to increase the visibility of applied geography in the profession and the general population and facilitate communications among the Group members; promote and recognize individual excellence in applied geographic research.

  • The AGSG is now accepting online board nominations (including self nominations) through March 20th. The nomination form will ask for the nominee's name, institutional affiliation, desired position(s), and a brief (~150 word) description of interests and qualifications. Elections will take place either online or during the 2019 Applied Geography Business Meeting (TBD), and elected board members will be confirmed at the Business Meeting on Friday April 5, from 11:45-1:00 in the Marriott, Roosevelt 4.
  • AGSG Welcomes New Awards Committee!
