Dr. Melissa J. (Tolene) Rura is the Book Review Editor for Photogrammetric Engineering & Remote Sensing (PE & RS) and is presently co-editing The Glossary of Mapping Science for American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS). She was the recipient of the Science, Mathematics And Research for Transformation Scholarship for Service from the Department of Defense. Her research interests include image analysis, photogrammetry, geographic information science and spatial statistics.
