ELDAAG 2020 Meeting! – 2nd CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Join us for a virtual conference hosted by Bowling Green State University's School of Earth, Environment and Society on October 29-30, 2020
The 2020 Annual Meeting of the East Lakes Division of the American Association of Geographers will take place on October 29-30, 2020. Events include virtual field trips on Thursday, a keynote by Amy Lobben, AAG President, a plenary panel on the need for geography and equitable policies, and more!

NOTE: Non AAG members welcome! To register, if you are not an AAG member, create a free AAG account first, using the link above, and then register for the East Lakes Regional Division AAG (ELDAAG) Annual Meeting 2020.
All presentations (papers and posters) must be submitted in video form
Abstract submissions are due Friday, October 2, 2020 October 9, 2020.
Paper and poster video uploads are due Wednesday, October 21, 2020 more info to come
NOTE: New AAG guidelines are for each paper presentation to be 15 minutes total (10 minutes + 5 minutes for questions). However, since this is a virtual conference with a common Q&A session, which will be live, the paper recorded duration must be 10 minutes. Posters will be submitted as a one-page PDF and a 2-3 minute poster narration. All presenters will also have 2- 3 minutes to recap their work at the beginning of the common live-Q&A.

- ELDAAG Student Presentation Competition. All students presenting papers or posters are automatically entered in the competition when they register as a student. There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rdplace cash awards for PhD, MA and BA/BS
- AAG Council Awards for Outstanding Undergraduate and Graduate Student Paper at a Regional Meeting. This competition is separate from the one above. Designed to encourage undergraduate/graduate student participation at AAG Regional Division meetings, it also supports their attendance at AAG Annual Meetings. The paper must authored by students The awardee will receive $1,000 from ELDAAG for use towards their registration and travel costs to the April 2021 AAG Annual Meeting in Seattle, WA.
